Helping learner drivers
Driving is an enjoyable and useful lifetime experience which is why every year nearly a million new learner drivers take to the roads. It is important to make sure that all new drivers have a broad spread of driving knowledge. There are now short cuts to becoming a safe and competent motorist.
As soon as a learner driver passes his or her driving test, and can drive unsupervised, their risk of crashing increases dramatically.
But, this is reduced if learners gain as much supervised driving experience as possible while they are learning.
RoSPA have created a website to encourage and help parents and guardians to ensure that their son or daughter who are learning to drive gains the most benefit from their learning period, it also offers help and advice for parents with learner motorcycles.
