Roadrunner

The bus is a 16 seater Mercedes operated by volunteers from the community and is based in Kempston. It is intended to provide a regular transport system for villages and hamlets which have no, or little, commercial service. The drivers give their time freely. There are services to Milton Keynes via Stewartby, to Milton Keynes via Bromham, from Aspley Guise to Bedford and from Bromham to Sainsburys at Kempston. There are other weekly runs from sheltered accommodation to stores in Bedford which run at other times, and it is possible others can be arranged.

The bus can also be hired on a private basis and can be driven by any driver with a standard car licence. Bookings for private hire can be made by calling co-ordinator Geoff Ware on (01234) 841654.
