Sports colleges in Bedfordshire

Sports colleges are part of the national specialist schools network. Bedfordshire has four Sports colleges, set up to raise the standards of teaching and learning in physical education and to support whole school development. These schools are given additional funding for these developments and offer support to a number of other schools – upper, middle and lower - in their area. They are:

• Biddenham upper school;
• Redborne upper school;
• Sandy upper school and; 
• Vandyke upper school.
