Shortlisting Stage
Once the closing date is reached shortlisting takes place. Shortlisting involves the recruiting manager and the interview panel reviewing each application against the criteria in the job description and person specification.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within four weeks of the closing date and will be sent an invitation to interview, detailing the date, time and location of your interview and the selection process.
We do try to contact every applicant with the outcome of their application but this is not always possible. If you have not heard from us within four weeks of the closing date, please assume that you have not been shortlisted on this occasion, but please don’t let this deter you from applying again in the future.
If you require feedback on why your application was not shortlisted you should contact the recruiting manager in the first instance or the recruitment team. The contact details will be in the email or letter that you have received to inform you that you have not been shortlisted.
