Comment on a planning application
Please note you should only send the County Council your comments on Planning Applications being determined or decided by the County Council. Comments on all other Planning Applications should be sent to the relevant District Council.
A list of our current applications can be seen on the above link ' Monitoring the Progress of Current Planning Applications'.
We also publish a 'Weekly Planning Application List' which lists the latest Planning Applications and/or Appeals we have registered. Where decisions have been made copies of the unsigned notices with conditions and letters are available electronically on this 'Weekly List'.
If you wish to comment on a Planning Application which is still awaiting decision please check the consultation period is still open via the 'Monitoring Progress' page and then you can either:

The County Council has published free advice leaflets. Two specifically deal with how to object to a Planning Application and how to have your say about a Planning Application. Copies are available from the Development Planning and Control Section at County Hall at the address shown above. Alternatively it can be viewed and/or downloaded from our Free Advice Leaflets page on this website.
