Minerals and Waste Development Scheme

The Minerals and Waste Development Scheme (MWDS) below sets out the programme for production of the documents which will compile the Minerals and Waste Development Framework. It also identifies which policies of the current Minerals and Waste Local Plan will be saved, and the time scale by which others will be reviewed and replaced. The Scheme also identifies opportunities for people to get involved in the process.

Update - February 08

We will not be submitting our Minerals Core Strategy or Site Allocations Plan in January 08 as set out in the above Scheme due to the requirement for further work.

Due to Central Government Policy we are unable to revise our Scheme as set out above. However Bedfordshire and Luton think it essential that those interested in the Framework are informed of the timetable that is now considered appropriate for preparation of the documents and have prepared a revised Minerals and Waste Development Framework Timetable.
