Countryside education

Bedfordshire offers education visits to all of its Countryside Sites. The main sites that offer facilities for groups are Harrold – Odell Country Park, Stockgrove Country Park, Bromham Mill and Dunstable Downs.

  • Historic Buildings – Bromham Watermill, Stevington Windmill, Moot Hall (John Bunyan's –Meeting Place)
  • The County Council has over 50 sites across the county which are available for educational use.
Practical Assistance – Our experienced staff will help you design, plan and organise your own class activities in the countryside with helpful advice, suggestions for suitable sites, and equipment loan.
