OFSTED reports

The range of OFSTED's inspection activities has grown since its inception under the Education (Schools) Act 1992. Subsequent legislation has expanded Ofsted's role to include inspections of Local Education Authorities, nurseries and Initial Teacher Training. From April 2001, OFSTED has begun inspecting sixth form, tertiary, general further education and specialist colleges. From September 2001 OFSTED has also taken responsibility for the regulation of childcare provision. The links will take you to the Ofsted inspection reports for Bedfordshire schools.
