Local Studies

Larger libraries have a wide range of local studies and family history collections. All libraries have information about their own area. Collections include newspapers, magazines, topic files, photographs, illustrations, census returns, parish registers, the International Genealogical Index, street directories, Victoria County Histories and a great deal more! The largest collection is based at Bedford Central Library.
