Young People

Children can join from birth.

Services for children include: Picture books; Fiction (stories that have been made up);
Non-fiction (information books); Reference books, including a wide selection of homework material; CD-ROM titles for use in the library; Books on tape; Class and Group visits; Holiday events; Homework, fun and leisure websites chosen by Youth Librarians;

Some libraries also provide: Videos; Storytimes for the under 5's Every library has a teenage fiction collection, books on tape and access to a range of teenage interest websites selected by Youth Librarians. Some libraries also have: Videos; Music cassettes and CDs
