2009 Courses

Bedfordshire and Luton Archives and Records Service is running  a series of  courses throughout 2009.

Each course costs £15 and will be held at the Archives.

The courses will begin at 9.30am, (to last approx. 3 hours) with registration and payment to be made from 9am to 9.20am on the day. There are limited places available for each course so if you would like to book a place please contact us at:

Thursday 14th May - Advanced Family History - Adding Branches to Your Tree

Find out about the archival sources that will further your family history research and add branches to your tree.

Thursday 11th June  - Family History for Beginners

This course will cover how to begin your research, use archive sources and Family History websites. You’ll get the chance to handle and explore original material with expert guidance and you don’t need to have Bedfordshire ancestry! A participant in a previous workshop said: “I now know where to start.  The handouts are clear and particularly relevant – a very enjoyable and informative morning!”
