This beerhouse| seems to be separate from the Shoulder of Mutton| as it had overlapping licensees of different names it was first licensed in 1841.

This establishment is known only from licensing records, it was run by Bedford brewers Thomas Jarvis. It may possibly be the same establishment as the Leg of Mutton
