Open from the 1830s until 1904, this was the scene of an altercation between the publican and his customers in 1870.

The Prince of Wales|

A relatively modern pub opened by Charles Wells in 1956.

The Swan|

Capitalising on its situatiuion next to the turnpike road, records date from 1798.

The Vine|

There are several 16th century references to this pub, which may be the predecessor of the Swan.
