In the High Street for over a century from 1827 to 1958.

The Queens Head|

A beerhouse also known as The Ragged Staff and Salutation, it closed in 1927.

The Railway Tavern|

Railway Tavern

This pub also went through several name changes, it was known as The Railway Inn, The Tavern and The Huntress. It was built in 1863.

Rose & Crown|

This beerhouse was on The Hill from the mid 19th Century until the 1920s.

This pub, also known as the Ragged Staff and Old Salutation has a complex history!

The Wheatsheaf|

Another lost beerhouse, this was open from c.1847 until 1912.

The White Hart|

An early 18th century pub - one brief mention in a document of 1737!

The White Horse|

This pub stood for two centuries before its closure in 1976.
