Instrumental provision - assisted purchase scheme
Parents can purchase an instrument for their child to play through Bedfordshire Music.
Through our contacts with national and local suppliers, we are also often able to negotiate a lower price than individual purchasers.
Your child's teacher can offer you advice on the most suitable instrument for you to buy.
To take advantage of the Scheme the following criteria must be met:
-
Pupils attend a Bedfordshire Local Authority school
-
Must be receiving instrumental tuition through school as part of his/her curriculum
-
The parent/guardian intends the child to continue to learn through Bedfordshire Music
-
The instrument is portable (no pianos!)
-
The instrument is paid for prior to collection
-
The purchase is made through Bedfordshire Music
-
If you meet these criteria you can save the VAT on the purchase of your child's new instrument.
If you would like to purchase an instrument through the Assisted Purchase Scheme please contact Carole Oliver at the Bedfordshire Music Library on (01234) 276518 or e-mail carole.oliver@bedscc.gov.uk|.
