Bedfordshire County Youth Second Orchestra
The County Youth Second Orchestra is a full symphony orchestra offering the opportunity of high quality orchestral experience to players preparing for promotion to County Youth Orchestra. The Orchestra performs a wide range of orchestral music, from the 19th Century repertoire to film scores and light popular music. A regular feature of the Orchestra’s
work is to include concertos, often featuring former members of the Orchestra as soloists. In 2005, the Orchestra was awarded the prestigious Schott Prize at the Edinburgh Festival.
