Bedfordshire Music

Bedfordshire Music is the principal provider of instrumental education and musical enrichment Albert Hall Concert 2007opportunities in the County of Bedfordshire.

Over 200 Bedfordshire Music teachers work in schools and Music Centres across the County each week, working at all levels from very beginner to advanced level.  Many students from Bedfordshire Music have gone on to become Albert Hall Concert 2007professional performers and teachers in their own right and we are very proud of the musical tradition that has been established in the County over many years.

As a pupil of Bedfordshire Music, you will have the opportunity to participate in the many musical enrichment activities organised by Bedfordshire Music, such as orchestras, bands, chamber ensembles, percussion and world music groups, instrumental festivals, workshops and concerts.  In addition, our five community Music Centres, situated throughout the County, offer a wide variety of ensembles and musical activities each Saturday morning and during weekday evenings throughout the year – we even have one of the few Youth Opera Companies in the country!

Flavour of the Month

Bedfordshire Music will be hosting twelve Fiddle Fiestas throughout the county.
Thousands of young string players will come together to showcase their talent as part of an orchestra. This year parents and carers who are also string players are invited to join their children.
